Book List

Recently I've been so wrapped up with school, I haven't been reading very much... So I've decided to try to read lots of new books, in the time from now, to the holidays! So far I have read:

  • The Most Human Human by Brian Christian

An eye-opening philosophical book that talks about what really makes us human, in even the most diverse activities we do! I really enjoyed this book, I think that even, if you don't really enjoy non-fiction, it's engaging and you'll definitely enjoy it. :)

  • The Telling, (Disharmony Book 1) by Leah Giarratano

The author of this book was actually a psychologist, which is probably why I picked up this book in the first place...That and the captivating plot! The story follows two seemingly totally different kids, that are possible suspects to have something to do with a prophecy involving three children, an empath, a psychopath and a genius. But just what are they supposed to do, and who are they really? This was really enjoyable, only downside, it didn't have the second book! I need to keep an eye out for it :)

  • Freakonomics by Stephen J. Dubner and Steven D. Levitt

Stephen J. Dubner and Steven D. Levitt plunge into the world of economics, questioning the small things and how they really are affecting us. A really interesting book that encourages us to think about things differently and how things that seem random can have a positive correlation
